The story of the Creation of the world and of man is given most completely in Genesis 1-2. Psalm 8 and Psalm 148 are songs to glorify the Lord for the creation of the beautiful things of the earth.
Jeremiah 4:23-28 tells of how the world will be uncreated, so to speak. At that point, the earth will be recreated.

12 He hath made the earth by his power, he hath established the world by his wisdom, and hath stretched out the heavens by his discretion.
When he uttereth his voice, there is a multitude of waters in the heavens, and he causeth the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth; he maketh lightnings with rain, and bringeth forth the wind out of his treasures. . . .
The portion of Jacob is not like them [graven images]: for he is the former of all things; and Israel is the rod of his inheritance: The LORD of hosts is his name.
